It is the common thread of thought that calling a costumer service hot line is inevitably going to be frustrating and unhelpful. However, this idea is in large part simple through misconceptions created by the media. While there are occasional calls that end up in long waiting times and incompetent assistants, most people do not experience these negative things nearly as frequently as they think. I know many people that have not had much problem in this regard, and I myself rarely experience this.
