Banking Job is Muscat. What is living and lifestyle in Muscat?

I have been offerred a job in a Muscat bank at OMR2500 plus anual air fare & health insurance cover . I have a family of one school going kid and my wife is a teacher. We lead an active life in Mumbai with leisure & sports activities thrown in! Whether a good life style and savings is possible with this package? Whether my wife can get a job as ateacher and what would possibily be her earning? What is your take on this package as i am a banker with 20 years experience ??
